Ripping apart and rewiring my studio today then tracking some new material. I have an intense setup for all my synths and tweaker instruments. The ability to cross any signal and combine is badass. I keep it one step above a piezo mic in regard to authentic sound creation. I do have soft synths but creating the actual sound usually comes from something autenthic/ not a sound bank given through a 3rd party program you buy. At some point the sound banks will plateau/ sound the same. The people who make sound banks do exactly this- if you are serious about the work then you’ll learn depth.
I have new overhead mics I’m eager to try out on my drum kit.
A new pedal to add into my guitar setup and I changed my style of pedal board. It’s important if you create a lot on your own to setup templates to speed up the starting point & loop pedals or functions to create multiple parts fast to compare
